DRIVE TO THE URBAN RENEWAL AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF PADUCAH,KENTUCKY WHEREAS, pursuant to 2-668 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Paducah, Kentucky, a written determination has been made by the City Manager that the City does not have any use at this time or in the future for property located at 1707 Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, which, therefore, constitutes surplus real estate. BE IT ORDERED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. The City of Paducah hereby approves the transfer of one tract of real property located at 1707 Martin Luther King Jr. Drive to the Urban Renewal and Community Development Agency. SECTION 2. That the property authorized in Section 1 above, heretofore approved for transfer, is more particularly described as follows: Beginning at a point in the north line of Clay Street, said point begin 100 feet westwardly from the northwest corner of the intersection of Fountain Avenue (now 17`" Street), and Clay Streets; thence in a westwardly direction and with the north line of Clay Street 50 feet; thence in a northerly direction and at an interior angle of 90 degrees and 14 minutes a distance of 80 feet; thence in an easterly direction, and at an interior angle of 89 degrees 46 minutes 50 feet; thence in a southerly direction, and at an interior angle of 90 degrees and 14 minutes a distance of 80 feet to the point of beginning on the north line of Clay Street; and being in all respects a part of Lots 26 and 27, Block 6, Fountain Park Addition to the City of Paducah, Kentucky a plat of which addition is of record in Deed Book 38, Page 147, McCracken County Court Clerk's Office. Being the same property conveyed to Beverly Z. Geary, no marital status given, from Henry L. Johnson and wife, Nellie Beth Johnson, by Deed dated February 18, 1993, of record in Deed Book 785, Page 608, McCracken County Clerk's Office. SECTION 3. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute a deed for the transfer of real property authorized in Section 1 above to the Agency. SECTION 4.
