HomeMy WebLinkAbout2015-11-8327450 ORDINANCE NO. 2015-11-8327 AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING FEDERAL EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT AGENCY (FEMA) REIMBURSEMENT FUNDS FOR EXPENDITURES RELATED TO SNOW REMOVAL EFFORTS ASSOCIATED WITH THE FEBRUARY 2015 WINTER STORM (FEMA DISASTER NO.: FEMA - 4216 -DR -KY) WHEREAS, the City of Paducah has applied for Federal Emergency Management Agency funds for reimbursement of expenditures related to the 2015 February winter storm by resolution adopted on August 4, 2015, by the Board of Commissioners; and WHEREAS, the City has received notification from the Commonwealth of Kentucky Office of Emergency Management that it will reimburse the City a portion of its expenditures. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah hereby accepts Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) funds through the Commonwealth of Kentucky Office of Emergency Management in the amount of $26,682.58 for expenditures related to snow removal efforts associated with the February 2015 winter storm (FEMA DISASTER NO.: FEMA -4216 -DR -KY). SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will become effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424. ATTEST: Tammara S.
