A MUNICIPAL ORDER AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE
A LEASE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF PADUCAH AND
COMMONWEALTH OF KENTUCKY, HOUSING, BUILDING, AND
CONSTRUCTION DEPARTMENT, HVAC DIVISION, FOR LEASE OF OFFICE
SPACE LOCATED AT 400 SOUTH 6TH STREET
BE IT ORDERED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute a Lease
Agreement between the City of Paducah and Commonwealth of Kentucky, Housing,
Building, and Construction Department, HVAC Division, for the sum of three hundred
ninety-three dollars and eighty-eight cents ($393.88) per quarter for 137 square feet of
office space located at 400 South 6th Street.
SECTION 2. The term of the aforesaid lease authorized in Section I
above shall be for six (6) months, from January 1, 2011 to June 30, 2011 with a one-year
automatic extension to June 30, 2012, unless the Commonwealth terminates the lease 30
days prior to June 30, 2011. Further, the lease includes a termination provision to allow
the Commonwealth to terminate the lease upon 30 days written notice.
SECTION 3. This Order shall be in full force and effect from and after
the date of its adoption.
