A MUNICIPAL ORDER AMENDING THE PADUCAH-McCRACKEN
COUNTY PARKS AND RECREATION MASTER PLAN TO INCLUDE A DOG
PARK THAT WILL BE LOCATED IN STUART NELSON PARK
WHEREAS, the City received and filed a copy of the official Paducah -
McCracken County Parks and Recreation Plan on December 17, 2002; AND
WHEREAS, on November 6, 2007, the Parks Services Director proposed
the 2002 Paducah -McCracken County Parks and Recreation Plan be updated: and
WHEREAS, on September 15, 2009, the updated site plans were filed in
the September 15, 2009, Board of Commissioners minute file; and
WHEREAS, the Parks Services Director is recommending an amendment
to the Plan to include a dog park.
BE IT ORDERED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The City of Paducah hereby amends the Paducah -
McCracken County Parks and Recreation Plan to include a dog park as a component.
The designated location will be in Stuart Nelson Park
SECTION 2. This order shall be in full force and effect from and after the
date of its adoption.
