A MUNICIPAL ORDER AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A
REIMBURSABLE GRANT APPLICATION AND ALL DOCUMENTS NECESSARY
THROUGH THE KENTUCKY OFFICE OF HOMELAND SECURITY FOR FUNDS IN AN
AMOUNT UP TO $450,000, FOR THE PADUCAH BOMB SQUAD CAPACITY
ENHANCEMENT PROJECT
BE IT ORDERED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute a reimbursable grant
application and all documents necessary through the Kentucky Office of Homeland Security in
the amount of $450,000, for the purchase of light and heavy equipment (all -terrain vehicle, robot,
investigative and training apparatus, and tools) with support materials and commodities. The
purchase of these items will be fully reimbursed by the Kentucky Office of Homeland Security if
the application is awarded. No local cash or in-kind contribution is required.
SECTION 2. This order shall be in full force and effect from and after the date of
its adoption.
