A MUNICIPAL ORDER AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A 2010
ASSISTANCE TO FIREFIGHTERS MATCHING GRANT APPLICATION AND ALL
DOCUMENTS NECESSARY THROUGH THE DEPARTMENT OF HOMELAND
SECURITY, FEDERAL EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT AGENCY, IN THE AMOUNT OF
$382,500.00, TO BE USED FOR THE PADUCAH FIRE DEPARTMENT
BE IT ORDERED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute a 2010 Assistance to
Firefighters Matching Grant Application and all documents necessary through the Department of
Homeland Security, Federal Emergency Management Agency, in the amount of $382,500.00, for
purchase of forty-two (42) 60 -minute self-contained breathing apparatus units with face masks
and an AFG Mobile Live -Fire Multi -Trainer. The City cash match of 10%, $42,500, will be
considered at the time the award is offered.
SECTION 2. This order shall be in full force and effect from and after the date of
its adoption.
