A MUNICIPAL ORDER AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR, IN PARTNERSHIP
WITH THE MCCRACKEN COUNTY FISCAL COURT, TO EXECUTE AN APPLICATION
AND ALL DOCUMENTS NECESSARY THROUGH THE KENTUCKY OFFICE OF
HOMELAND SECURITY, IN AN AMOUNT UP TO $300,000 FOR THE PURCHASE OF
RADIOS FOR USE BY ALL CITY AND COUNTY FIRST RESPONSE AGENCIES
BE IT ORDERED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The Mayor is hereby authorized, in partnership with the McCracken
County Fiscal Court, to execute an application and all documents necessary through the
Kentucky Office of Homeland Security, in an amount up to $300,000 for the purchase of radios
for use by all City and County First Response Agencies.
SECTION 2. The City of Paducah and McCracken County Fiscal Court hereby
agree that the County shall act as the lead government agency in meeting all grant requirements.
No local cash match or in-kind contributions are required with the grant.
SECTION 3. This order shall be in full force and effect from and after the date of
its adoption.
