A MUNICIPAL ORDER AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A
GRANT APPLICATION AND ALL DOCUMENTS NECESSARY TO OBTAIN A 2010
KENTUCKY BODY ARMOR GRANT THROUGH THE KENTUCKY OFFICE OF
HOMELAND SECURITY, LAW ENFORCEMENT PROTECTION PROGRAM, IN THE
AMOUNT OF $30,000, TO BE USED BY THE PADUCAH POLICE DEPARTMENT
BE IT ORDERED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute a grant application and
all documents necessary to obtain a 2010 Kentucky Body Armor Grant through the Kentucky
Office of Homeland Security, Law Enforcement Protection Program, in the amount of $30,000,
to be used for the Paducah Police Department.
SECTION 2. This order shall be in full force and effect from and after the date of
its adoption.
