HomeMy WebLinkAbout77-12-1520722 ORDINANCE NO. 77-12-1520 AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF K & K OFFICE EQUIPMENT FOR SALE TO THE CITY OF APPROXIMATELY TWENTY (20) FOLDING TABLES, TWO (2) TABLE TRUCKS, TWO HUNDRED (200) FOLDING CHAIRS AND FOUR (4) CHAIR TRUCKS, TO BE USED AT THE JAYCEE CIVIC CENTER BUILDING, FOR THE SUM OF TWO THOUSAND SIX HUNDRED EIGHTEEN DOLLARS AND 26/100 ($2,618.26), AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SUCH PURCHASE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the bid of K & K Office Equipment for sale to the City of approximately twenty (20) folding tables, two (2) table trucks, two hundred (200) folding chairs and four (4) chair trucks, to be used at the Jaycee Civic Center building, for, the sum of Two thousand, six hundred . eighteen dollars and 26/100 ($2,618.26)_, said bid ,being in substantial compliance with the bid, specifications and advertisement for bids as was authorized by resolution passed by the Board of Commissioners on November 22, 1977, and as contained in the bid of K &1K Office Equipment, dated December 8, 1977. SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to execute a contract with K & K Office Equipment for sale to the City of the equipment authorized in Section 1 above, according to the specifications, bid proposal and all contract documents heretofore approved and incorporated in the bid. SECTION 3. The purchase price for said equipment shall be charged to Federal Revenue Sharing Account No. 5525. SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be introduced and remain on file for one week for public inspection in the completed form in which it shall be put, upon its final passage, and if adopted. shall be in full force and effect ten (10) days thereafter.
