AN ORDINANCE AMENDING, "AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF
LUSK ACOUSTICAL AND SUPPLY COMPANY, INC. FOR INSTALLATION OF GYM-
NASIUM FLOORING IN THE BOY'S CLUB OF PADUCAH, INC . , FOR THE SUM OF
TWELVE THOUSAND SEVEN HUNDRED SEVEN DOLLARS AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY
MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SUCH INSTALLATION"
WHEREAS, at a meeting of the Board of Commissioners held on September

1977, the Board adopted Ordinance No.,771 "AN, ORDINANCE A
THE BID OF LUSK ACOUSTICAL AND,_SUPPLY COMPANY,.. INC. FOR INSTALLATION
OF GYMNASIUM FLOORING IN THE BOY'S CLUB OF PADUCAH, INC.., FOR THE
SUM OF TWELVE THOUSAND SEVEN HUNDRED SEVEN DOLLARS AND AUTHORIZING
THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SUCH INSTALLATION", and
WHEREAS, the aforesaid amount of $12,707.00 was incorrect and should have
read in the amount of $14,956.00, and
WHEREAS, the Board of Commissioners desire to have the amount of
$12,707 corrected to read, $14,956.00,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF
THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the bid of Lusk Acoustical and
Supply Company, Inc . , for installation of gymnasium flooring in the Boy's Club of
Paducah, Inc., for the sum of Fourteen thousand nine hundred and fifty-six dollars
($14,956.00), said bid being in substantial compliance with the bid specifications and
advertisement for bids as was authorized by resolution passed by the Board of
Commissioners on August 23, 1977, and as contained in the bid of Lusk Acoustical
and Supply Company, Inc . , dated September 7, 1977.
SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to
execute a contract with Lusk Acoustical and Supply Company, Inc . , for installation
of the flooring authorized in Section 1 above, according to the specifications, bid
proposal and all contract documents heretofore approved and incorporated in the bid.
SECTION 3. The purchase price for said installation shall be charged to
Community Development Block Grant Funds.
SECTION 4. An emergency is declared to exist and this ordinance shall
therefore be introduced and remain on file for public inspection for at least one
week in the completed form in which it shall be put upon its final passage, and if

adopted shall be in full force and effect immediately thereafter.
