WHEREAS, KRS 96.840 provides that an audit` of the `records of the Electric Plant Board shall be made annually by an auditor selected by the Legislative' Body of the City, and that the expense of said audit shall constitute ~an operating expense of the `Electric Plant Board, and WHEREAS, by Resolution adopted by the Electric Plant Board` on November 9, 1977, said Board recommended to the Board of Commissioners of the City of Paducah that Allen and Barnett, Certified Public Accountants, be appointed to make an audit of the Electric Plant Board's records from July 1, 1977 Ito Jurie 30; ` 1978 .' NOW , THEREFORE , BE IT RESOLVED BY ~ THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS ' ,.. .. OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: ,,, - , ; is SECTION 1. That Allen and Barnett, Certified Public Accountants of ` Paducah, Kentuck are hereb selected and desi nated to audit the records of the e Electric Plant Board of the City of Paducah as provided- by KRS 96.840 and that ~th ... .. . expense of~ such audit shall constitute an roperating expense of said Board . { ,.; .. uch audit shall be based upon' the SECTION 2.
