HomeMy WebLinkAboutGrant Agreement - Airport605 A RESOTUTTON AUTHORIZING, 'ADOPTING, .APPROVING, ACCEPTING AND RATIFYING THE EXECUTION OF GRANT AGREEMENT FOR PROJECT NO: 6=21-0043-8 BETWEEN THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA AND CITY OF PADUCAH AND COUNTY OF McCRACKEN, KENTUCKY BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY Y` OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That said City of Paducah, Kentucky, hereby authorizes, adopts, approves, accepts and ratifies the execution of Grant Agreement between the Federal Aviation 'Administration on' behalf of`~ the' United States` of America and City of Paducah and County of McCracken, Kentucky. SECTION 2. That the execution of said Grant Agreement in quadru- plicate on behalf of the City of Paducah, Kentucky, by William S . Murphy, Mayor, and the impression of the official seal of the City of Paducah, Kentucky, and the attestation of said execution by Lenita Knight, Administrative Clerk, is hereby authorized, adopted, approved, accepted and ratified. SECTION 3. That the President of Paducah Airport Corporation is hereby authorized to execute payment requests under this Grant Agreement on behalf of said City of Paducah and County of McCracken, Kentucky. SECTION 4. That the Grant Agreement referred to hereinabove shall be attached hereto and made a part of this Resolution as though it were fully copied herein . CERTIFICATE I. Lenita Knight, a duly appointed Administrative Clerk of the City of Paducah, Kentucky, do hereby certify that the attached extract from the Minutes of the meeting of the Board of City Commissioners, held on August 30, 1977, is a true and correct copy of the original Minutes of said Meeting on file and of record insofar as said original Minutes relate to the matters set forth in said attached ex- tract, and I do further certify that the copy of the Resolution appearing in said attached extract is a true and correct copy of such Resolution adopted at said Meet- ing and on file and of record .
