SAIUiE ,. , WHEREAS, a parcel of real estate is owned of record by John Garrard, Joe Hughes, Thomas Cousins, and Arthur Pate, and is necessary for the completion of the Interim Community Development Plan, Application No . B-75HN-21-0009, and WHEREAS, the Urban Renewal and Community Development Agency, by resolution dated April 6, 1976, requested institution of Condemnation proceedings in its behalf, and WHEREAS, it does not appear that a purchase agreement can be reached at this time with the owners of the subject property as the ownership is in dispute, and WHEREAS, the Board of Commissioners of the City of Paducah Kentucky does therefore agree with the request of the Urban Renewal and Community Develop- meat Agency of the City of Paducah, Kentucky, that it will be necessary to institute condemnation proceedings pursuant to the Kentucky Revised Statutes to acquire title to this property . NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That the Assistant Corporation Counsel be, and he is hereby, ordered and directed to institute condemnation proceedings in the McCracken Circuit Court against John Garrard, single; Beatrice Hughes, widow of Joe Hughes, deed; Perry Hughes and Willie B . Hughes, his wife; Mamie Lou Mundy, and her husband James Mundy; Ida Rogers and Hillman Rogers, her husband; Ruth Lawson and her husband, Perk Lawson; Thomas Cousins and his Wife, H . S . Counsins . The unknown L-° '` heirs, assigns, spouses, devisees, legatees, consorts and grantees of Arthur Pate, 597 deceased; Jim Ricks, Ralph Rowton, Sr . , Hosea Chatman and ,.James Nelson, Elders. of ,Kingdom. Hall Jehovah s ,:Witnesses, County of McCracken, .State: of Kentucky; and any and all other. ,parties in .interest to acquire all of the ,right,. title and interest in the subject property owned by aforementioned . _ . _ , SECTION. 2 .
