ORDINANCE NO. 77-4-1408
AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH
PLANNING COMMISSION RESPECTING THE REZONING OF PROPERTY LOCATED
AT 635 AND 701 GEORGE STREET, AND AMENDING THE PADUCAH ZONING
ORDINANCE - 1976 SO AS TO EFFECT SUCH REZONING
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY
OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That a resolution adopted by the Paducah Planning Com-
mission
on April
19, 1977, entitled "A
RESOLUTION
CONSTITUTING THE FINAL
REPORT
OF THE
PADUCAH PLANNING
COMMISSION
ON THE PROPOSED REZONING
OF PROPERTY AT 635 AND 701 GEORGE STREET", be approved as the final
report of said Commission respecting the matters therein set forth.
SECTION 2. That the zone classification change and the map amendment
proposed in said resolution be, and the same are hereby, declared to be in
agreement with the comprehensive plan of the City of Paducah.
SECTION 3. That the zone classification of the following property be,
and it is hereby, changed from C-1, Conservancy Zone, to R-3, Residential
Zone:
Beginning at a point in the centerline of
George Street at its intersection with the
southwesterly line of the property of
Larry and Mary B. Arnett (extended) and
the westerly line of Donnie and Penny
Hester (extended); -thence with the center-
line of George Street and in a northeasterly
direction 1.64 feet more or less; thence at
right angles and in a northwesterly direction
a distance of 160 feet more or less; thence at
right angles and in a southwesterly direction
a distance of 164 feet more or less, thence at
right angles and in a southeasterly direction
a distance of 160 feet more or less to the
point of beginning.
SECTION 4. That if any section, paragraph or provision of this
ordinance shall be found to be inoperative, ineffective or invalid for any cause,
the deficiency or invalidity of such section, paragraph or provision shall not
affect any other section, paragraph or provision hereof, it being the purpose
and intent of this ordinance to make each and every section, paragraph and
provision hereof separable from all other sections, paragraphs and provisions.
SECTION 5. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after the date of its adoption.
