AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH
PLANNING COMMISSION RESPECTING THE REZONING OF PROPERTY LOCATED
AT 1401, 1407 AND 1415 LONE- OAK ROAD, AND AMENDING -THE PADUCAH
ZONING ORDINANCE - 197-6 SO AS TO EFFECT 'SUCH REZONING
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1.- That a resolution adopted by the -Paducah Planning Com-
mission on December 6, 1976, entitled "A RESOLUTION CONSTITUTING THE FINAL
REPORT OF THE PADUCAH PLANNING COMMISSION ON THE PROPOSED REZONING OF
PROPERTY LOCATED AT 1401, 1407 AND 1415 LONE OAK ROAD", be' approved as
the final report of said Commission respecting the -matters therein set forth.
SECTION 2. That the zone classification change and the map amendment
proposed in said resolution be, and -the same are hereby, declared to be in agree-
ment with the comprehensive plan of the City of Paducah.
SECTION 3. That the zone classification of the following property be, and -
it is hereby,- changed from R-2 One -Family Residential Zone; to B-1 Convenience
and Service Zone:
Beginning at the point of intersection of the
centerlines of U. S. Highway 45 and Birch
Street, thence in a westerly direction and
with the centerline of Birch Street .197.5
feet to the point of intersection of the
centerline of Birch Street and the centerline
of -a 20 -foot alley; --thence south and with the
centerline of said 20 -foot alley 185.39 feet
to a point in the northerly line of Bellemeade
"PUD"; thence in an easterly direction and with
the northerly line of the Bellemeade "PUD" to
the westerly line of U. S. Highway 45; thence
with the centerline of Highway 45 and in a
northerly direction 237.29 feet to the point of
beginning.
SECTION 4. That if any section, paragraph or provision of this ordinance
shall be found to be inoperative, ineffective or invalid for any cause, the deficiency
or invalidity of such
section, paragraph
or provision
shall not affect any other
section, paragraph or provision hereof,
it being the
purpose and intent of this
ordinance to make each and every section, paragraph and provision hereof separable
from all other sections, paragraphs and provisions.
SECTION 5. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after the date of its adoption.
