A MUNICIPAL ORDER AUTHORIZING THE APPLICATION FOR A
MATCHING GRANT IN THE AMOUNT OF $500,000, FROM THE DEPARTMENT FOR
LOCAL GOVERNMENT FOR A COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT FOR
THE DEMOLITION OF 432 BROADWAY
BE IT ORDERED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute an application and all
documents relating to same, requesting a matching grant in the amount of $500,000 from the
Department for Local Government for a Community Development Block Grant for the
demolition of 432 Broadway.
SECTION 2. Local matching funds will be in the amount of $125,000.00 and will
be provided through the 5th & Broadway Demo project account.
SECTION 3. This order shall be in full force and effect from and after the date of
its adoption.
