ORDINANCE NO. 77-1-1372
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF KENTUCKY MACHINERY; INC.
FOR SALE TO THE CITY OF A ETNYRE 1900 GALLON MODEL NS STREET FLUSHER,
AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SUCH PURCHASE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah, Kentucky- accept the bid of Kentucky
Machinery, :Inc., for sale to the City of a Etnyre 1900 Gallon model NS street flusher,
in the amount of $11,612.00 less trade-in of a 1956 International tank type street
flusher (serial No. M94882) in the amount of $2,428.00, making a net cost of $93-184.00.-
said

said bid being in substantial compliance with the bid specifications and advertisement
for bids as was authorized by Resolution passed by the Board of Commissioners on
November 23, 1976 and as contained in the bid of Kentucky Machinery Inc . , dated
December 10, 1976.
SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to
execute a contract with' Kentucky Machinery, Inc. for sale -to the City of the' =street
flusher authorized in Section 1 above according to 'the specifications, bid proposal and
all contract documents " heretofore approved and incorporated in ,the `bid

SECTION 4. An emergency is declared to exist and this ordinance shall
therefore be introduced and remain on file for public inspection for at least one
week in the completed form in which it shall be put upon its final passage, and if
adopted shall be in full force and effect immediately thereafter.
