ORDINANCE NO. 76-12-1357
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 12-28 OF ARTICLE II, FIRE
DEPARTMENT, AND' SECTION 25-19 OF ARTICLE I, POLICE'DEPARTMENT, OF
THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY
OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That Section 12-28 of Article II; Fire Department, of the.
Code of Ordinances of the City of Paducah,' Kentucky, be amended and reordained
so that said section as amended and reordained shall hereafter read as follows:
"Sec . 12-28 . Same -Salary .
Any person occupying the position of noncidil service fire department
switchboard operator shall be paid at the rate of $647.00 per month for the first
six months of employment,• at the expiration of six months $657.00 per month; at
the expiration of one year $667.00 per month; at the expiration of two years $677.•00
per month; at the expiration of three years $687.00 per month, and at the expiration
of five years $697.00 per month. The said switchboard operator shall be entitled
to receive the same longevity pay as all other regular foil=time employees of the
City of Paducah as is provided in Section 2-54 of the Code of Ordinances of the
City of Paducah."
SECTION 2. That Section 25-19 of Article I, Police Department, of the
Code of Ordinances of the City of Paducah, Kentucky, be amended and reordained
so that said section as amended and reordained shall hereafter read as follows:
"Sec. 25-19. Same -Salary.
Any person occupying the position of communications clerk in the police
department of the City of Paducah, shall be paid at the rate of $620.00 per month
for the first six months of employment; at the expiration of six months $630.00 per
month; at the expiration of one year $640.00 per month; at the expiration of two
years $650.00 per month; at the expiration of three years $660.00 per month; and
at the expiration of five years $670.00 per month. Communications clerk shall be
eligible to receive the longevity pay as other regular full-time employees of the City
as is provided in Section 2-54 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Paducah."
SECTION 3. Sections 1 and 2 amends Ordinance No. 76-3-1248, adopted
March 23, 1976.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after January 3, 1977.
