AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF CENTURY CUSTOM RECORDING
SERVICE FOR A SOUND SYSTEM FOR THE COMMISSION CHAMBER, AND AUTHORIZING
THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SUCH PURCHASE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH,KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah, Kentucky, accept the bid of
Century Custom Recording Service in the amount of $3, 994.00, for sale to the City
of a sound system for the Commission Chamber, said bid being in substantial
compliance with the bid specifications and advertisement for bids as was authori-
zed by Resolution passed by the Board of Commissioners on October 12, 1976,
and as contained in the bid of Century Custom Recording Service, dated Oct-
ober 29, 1976.
SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized
to execute a contract with Century Custom Recording Service for sale to the City
of a sound system authorized in Section 1 above according to the specifications,
bid proposal and all contract documents heretofore approved and incorporated in
the bid .
SECTION 3. The purchase price for said sound system shall be charged
to the Contingent Fund, Account No . 9094 .
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be introduced and remain on file
for at least one week for public inspection in the completed form in which it shall
be put upon its final passage, and if adopted shall be in full force and effect ten (10)
days thereafter .
