ORDINANCE NO. 86-9-1314
AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE CLOSING OF A PORTION"OF
RUSTIC AVENUE (FORMERLY NORTH CENTR?L AVENUE) LYING BETWEEN COUNTRY
CLUB LANE AND WOODLAND DRNE IN THE CITY OF PADUCAH , KENTUCKY
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah does hereby authorize the closing

of a portion of Rustic Avenue (formerly North Central Avenue) lying between Country
Club Lane and Woodland Drive, more particularly described as follows:
Rustic Avenue, formerly North Central Avenue, being
55 feet in width, beginning at the west right-of-way line
of Country Club Lane (40th Street) and extending in a
westerly direction to the east right-of-way line of Woodland
Drive , formerly Jennings Street .
There is to be retained within the limits of the above described
closing a 30 foot utility easement lying 15 feet either side of the
center line of an existing sanitary sewer . Said easement shall
be retained for the purpose of constructing and maintaining
utilities which may include, but are not limited to, storn sewer,
sanitary sewer, water, gas, telephone and electrical lines.
Said easement is to remain forever clear of permanent structures
or other obstructions except those which may be constructed by
the City of Paducah or authorized utility companies.
SECTION 2. That the Corporation Counsel of the City of Paducah,
Kentucky, be, and he is hereby, authorized, empowered and directed to institute
and prosecute, pursuant to KRS 94.360, an action in the McCracken Circuit Court for a
judgment ordering the closing of the portion of the alley described in Section 1
hereof .
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after
the date of its adoption .
