AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF NATIONAL UTILITY PRODUCTS
COMPANY -FOR SALE TO THE. CITY OF PADUCAH OF ADJUSTABLE MANHOLE RINGS
TO BE USED I1V .STREET RESURFACING WORK,'AND"AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER
TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SUCH PURCHASE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the -bid of National Utility
Products Company for sale to the City of 110 adjustable manhole rings tb be used
in street resurfacing work for the sum of $6,160.00, said bid being in substantial
compliance with the bid specifications .and advertisement for bids as was authorized
by resolution adopted by the Board of Commissioners on April 27, 1976, and as
contained fn the bid of National Utility Products Company-dated May 4, 1976.
SECTION 2 . That the City Manager be , and he is hereby , authorized to
execute a contract with National Utility Products Company for sale to the City of the
material authorized in Section~labove-, according to the specifications, bid proposal
and all contract documents heretofore approved and incorporated in the bid .
SECTION 3.' The purchase price for said material shall be charged to
either General Fund or Federal Revenue Sharing'Account No. 3454.
SECTION 4. An emergency is declared to exist and this ordinance shall
therefore be introduced and remain on file. for .public inspection for one week in the
completed form'in which it shall be-put upon its final passage, and "if adopted shall be
in full force and effect immediately thereafter .
