HomeMy WebLinkAboutEstablishing bank account for Community Center construction143 A RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR THE ESTABLISHMENT OF A BANK ACCOUNT TO BE KNOWN AS "COMMUNITY CENTER CONSTRUCTION AND MAINTENANCE ACCOUNT, CITY OF PADUCAH" WHEREAS , the City of Paducah has received a grant in the amount of $50,000.00 for the construction of a community center in the southside area, and WHEREAS , it is necessary that the said funds be properly accounted for . NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH , KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That there is hereby established a bank account to be known as "Community Center Construction and Maintenance Account , City of Paducah" , and the Peoples First National Bank & Trust Company, of Paducah, Kentucky, is designated as a depository for said account; the purpose of said account shall be for the disbursement of necessary funds for the construction and maintenance of the aforesaid community center . SECTION 2. The City Manager and the City Treasurer of the City of Paducah, Kentucky are hereby authorized and approved as joint signatories of the aforesaid account. SECTION 3. This resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after the date of its adoption and retroactive to April 28, 1976.
