A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY TREASURER TO ACCEPT A
$4, 000.00 BEQUEST FROM THE FRANK L. RINKLEFF ESTATE , AND TO INVEST SAID
FUNDS FOR THE PURPOSES OF CARING FOR CERTAIN OAK GROVE CEMETERY LOTS
WHEREAS , the estate of Frank L . Rinkleff , deceased , provided as follows:
"I .give and bequeath. to the City, Treasurer, City of Paducah,
Kentucky for 'special care' of Frank Louis Rinkleff lots in
Section 34, Lot No. 511 recorded_in Cemetery Lot Book page 45
and the Florence Hoyer lots in Section 31 being parts of Lots 456
and 457 recorded in Cemetery. Lot Book at page 42 for the sum of $4, 000.00."
WHEREAS , the aforesaid bequest has now been delivered to the City
Treasurer of the City of Paducah, Kentucky, and the City does hereby desire to comply
with the terms of the aforesaid bequest.
NOW THEREFORE , BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS
OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City Treasurer be, and he is hereby, authorized
to accept the aforesaid $4, 000.00 bequest from the Frank L . Rinkleff estate for the
purposes of caring, in the aforesaid manner, for those designated lots located in
Oak Grove Cemetery .
SECTION 2. The City Treasurer is hereby authorized, and directed,
to invest the aforesaid $4,000.00 in an interest bearing account and, to disburse the
necessary funds therefrom as directed by the City Manager , to provide for the special
care of the aforesaid cemetery lots.
SECTION 3. This resolution shall be in full force and effect from and
after the date of its adoption .
