A, ORDINANCE AMENDING SUB-SECTION (e) OF SECTION 25-1 "NUMBER
RANK AND SALARIES OF MEMBERS OF DEPAIt.TME1VT" OF THE CODE OF` ORDINANCES
OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH , KENTUCKY
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That S'ub=section (e) of Section 25-1 "Number, rank and salaries
of members of the department" , be , and the same is hereby, amended and reordained so
that said Sub-section as amended and reordained shall hereafter read as follows:
"Sec . 25=1. Number , rank' and salaries of members of department

(e) Policemen shall be paid at the rate of $625.00 per month for the first
six months; at the expiration of six months of service with the city the rate of pay shall
be $685.00 per month; at the end' of one year of service the rate of pay shall be $705.00
per month; for all. service between the third and' fifth years the rate of pay shall be $727.50
per month; for service between the fifth and eighth years the rate of pay shall be $735.00
per month; for all service between the eighth and eleventh years the~rate of pay shall be
$742.50 per month; for all service beyond the' eleventh year the rate of pay shall be
$750.00 per month. A policeman who is regularly assigned to investigative or specialized
duties by the Chief of the Paducah Police Department and with the approval of the City
Manager, shall, after the first month of such assignment receive the additional compensation
of $2.00 per day for each day so worked or a maximum of $45 ~. 00 per month so worked . rr
SECTION 2. Section 1 amends Section 1 of an ordinance originally adopted
August 5, 1952, and which was last amended by Secfions land 2 of Ordinance No.
74-12-1064 adopted December 3'0, 1~9~74.
SECTION 3: This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after
its adoption.
