AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING, THE OFFER OF DALLAS HOME .AND GARAGE
BUILDERS , INC . , 21.67 SOUTH BELTLI1~tE .HIGHWAY.,.. PADUCAH , KENTUCKY,. TO
PURCHASE THE INTEREST OF THE .CITY OF PAD.UCAH IN CERTAIN LOTS IN LITTLE'S
ADDITION FOR THE SUM.OF $550.00, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK
TO EXECUTE A QULTCLAIM DEED.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH , KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That.. the .offer of Dallas Home and Garage. Builders, Inc . in
the amount of $5,50...00 to purchase the interest of the City in the following described land,
be accepted,. said land being described as follows:
Lots 39, 40, 41, 42, 43, 44, 45 and 46 in Block No. 5 of
Little's Addition, plat of same being in Plat Book "A" ,
page 226 in. the. McCracken County Court :Clerk's office,.
and being at the northwest corner of Blow and Fulton
Streets , and as ..shown on page 3 of Block Map Book
No . 7 in the office of the City Engineer .
Being the same land (Robert L. Sanderson property)
conveyed to the. City of Paducah by Ben C . LeRoy,
Treasurer, by deed dated October 22, 1968, and of
record in Deed Book 502 , page 541 in said Clerk's office .
and
Lot 1.5 and a part of Lot. 16. in Block 5 of Little's
Addition to Paducah, Kentucky, plat of same being in
Plat Book "A" , page 226 in the aforesaid. clerk's, office.,,
fronting 64 feet on the west side of Depot Street and
being 110 feet. deep , and as shown. an page, 3 of Block
Map Book No . 7 in the office of the City Engineer .
Being the same land (Robert L. Sanderson property)
conveyed to. the City of Paducah _by Benjamin C .. LeRoy,
Treasurer , by deed of correction dated September 4, 1975 ,
and of record in Deed Book. 574, page 576 in the
McCracken County Court Clerk's office .
SECTION 2. Upon the payment of the sum of $550.00 to the City Treasurer,
the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to convey to Dallas Home
and Garage Builders , Inc . all of the right, title and interest of the City in the property
described in Section 1 hereof, and said deed of conveyance shall be quitclaim only,
shall contain no warranty as to title , and shall be subject to any state of facts that might
be shown by an accurate survey .
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after the date of its adoption .
