ORDINANCE NO. 76-1-1215
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ARTICLE VIII, "DEPARTMENT OF PLANNING AND
DEVELOPMENT", SECTION 2-159, OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH,KENTUCKY
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH,KENTUCKY: -
SECTION ..1. .That Article VIII, Department of~ Planning and Development" ,
Section 2-159 "Responsibilities and functions" , be amended and reordained so that
said section as amended and reordained shall hereafter read as follows:
"Sec. 2-159. Responsibilities and functions.
(a) The department of planning and development shall have responsibility for:
(1) Coordination of the city's workable program.
(2) Current planning activities, including zoning administration and
subdivision control.
(3) Coordination and administration of Federally assisted projects pertaining
to planning, community development and housing
(4) Such other duties , functions and responsibilities as may be later
delegated by the City Manager .
(b) Such department shall be under the management of the director of
planning and development and will direct the functions and supervise
the personnel of such sub-departments as community development and
housing, and planning; but such positions so absorbed will remain
identically the same as to status, duties and rates of pay."
SECTION 2. This ordinance amends Section 1 of Ordinance No. 75-8-1162
which was adopted by the Board of Commissioners on August 26, 1975.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after
the date of its adoption .
