ORDINANCE NO. 76-1-1212
AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH PLANNING
COMMISSION RESPECTING THE REZONING OF PROPERTY LOCATED ON NORTH 9th STREET
BETWEEN BURNETT STREET AND FINLEY STREET , AND AMENDING THE PADUCAH ZONING
ORDINANCE-1971 SO AS TO EFFECT SUCH REZONING
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUGAH , KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That. a resolution adopted by the Paducah Planning Commission
on November 17, 1975, entitled "A RESOLUTION CONSTITUTING THE FINAL REPORT OF
THE PADUCAH PLANNING COMMISSION ON THE PROPOSED REZONING OF PROPERTY
LOCATED ON NORTH 9TH STREET BETWEEN BURNETT AND FINLEY STREETS" , be
approved as the final report of said Commission respecting the matters therein set forth.
SECTION 2. That the zone classification change and the map amendment
proposed in said resolution be, and the same are hereby, declared to be in agreement
with the comprehensive plan of the City of Paducah .
SECTION 3. That the zone classification of the following property be, and
it is hereby, changed from R-3, Medium Density Residential Zone, to M-1, Light
Industry Zone:
Beginning at the point of intersection of the
center lines of Finley Street and North 9th
Street; thence in a northwesterly direction
and with the center line of North 9th Street
a distance of 430 feet to the intersection
of the center lines of North 9th Street and
Burnett Street; thence in a southwesterly
direction and with the center line of Burnett
Street a distance of 242.5 feet to the inter-
section of the center line of a 25 foot alley
and the center line of Burnett Street; thence
in a southeasterly direction and with the
center line of said alley a distance of 430
feet to the point of intersection of the
center line of said alley and the center
line of Finley Street; thence in a north-
easterly direction and with the center
line of Finley Street 242.5 feet to the point
of beginning.
SECTION 4. That if any section, paragraph or provision of this ordinance
shall be found to be inoperative, ineffective or invalid for any cause, the deficiency
or invalidity of such section, paragraph or provision shall not affect any other
section, paragraph or provision hereof, it being the purpose and intent of this
ordinance to make each and every section, paragraph and provision hereof separable
from all other sections , paragraphs and provisions .

.SECTION 5. This ordinance shall be in. full force and effect from and
after the date of its adoption..
