ORDINANCE NO. 80-10-2009
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE OFFER OF MRS. RONDA WILLETT, A
WIDOW, THOMAS JEFFERSONTAPTS., NO. 19, TO PURCHASE THE INTEREST OF THE
CITY IN 1219 HARRISON STREET, FOR THE SUM OF $500.00, AND AUTHORIZING
THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE A `QUITCLAIM DEED
BE 1T ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1 ' That the offer of Mrs. Ronda Willett, in the amount of
$500.00 to purchase the interest of the City in the following described land in
said City be accepted, said land being described as follows:
Being known as 1219 Harrison Street, fronting 25 feet on the
north side of same,. being 173.25 feet deep, situated. 195 feet
west of 12th Street, and shown on page 48 of Block Map
Book 2 in the office of the City Engineer.
Being the same land (Jim Johnson and Mary Alice Johnson)
conveyed to the City of Paducah on March 201 1968 by R. H:
Overstreet, Acting City Treasurer, by deed of record in Deed
Book 496' Page 228, in the McCracken County Court Clerk's
off ice.
SECTION 2. Upon the payment of the sum of $500.00 (plus $6.00 for
recording fee to be paid by the City) to the City Treasurer, the Mayor and City
Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to convey to Mrs. Ronda Willett all of
the right, title and interest of the City in the property described in Section 1
hereof and that said deed of conveyance shall be quitclaim only, shall contain no
warranty as to title and shall be subject to any state of facts as might be shown
by an accurate survey.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be, read on two separate days and
will be effective upon publication of title and a certified summary thereof.
