AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF JIMAR PAVING COMPANY FOR
RESURFACING VARIOUS STREETS IN THE CITY OF PADUCAH AND AUTHORIZING THE
CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SUCH SERVICES
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the bid of Jimar Paving Company
for resurfacing various streets in the City of Paducah, Kentucky, for the following
prices:
Surface, 8000 tons @ $27.25
Primer L, 1000 gallons @ $.95
Tack Coat, 4000 gallons @ $1.00
DGA-Base, 500 tons @ $11.00
DGA-Shoulders 500 tons @ $11.00
Manholes 20 each @ $225.00
$ 218,000.00

said bid being in substantial compliance with the bid specifications and advertisement
for bids as was authorized by resolution passed by the Board of Commissioners on
April 22, 1980, and as contained in the bid of Jimar Paving Company, dated
May 7, 1980.
SECTION 2. That the .City'. Manager be; and he is hereby, authorized
to execute a contract with Jimar Paving Company for the service authorized in
Section 1 above, according to the specifications, bid proposal and all contract
documents heretofore approved and incorporated in the bid.
SECTION 3. The purchase price for said services shall be charged to
either General Fund or Federal Revenue Sharing Fund Account No. 3454.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be introduced and remain on file
for one week for public inspection in the completed form in which it shall be put
upon its final passage, and if adopted shall be in full force and effect ten (10)
days thereafter.
