AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF ALLAN RHODES FORD AND
HONDA FOR SALETOTHE CITY OF SEVEN (7) 1980.FOUR-DOOR LTD S AUTO-
MOBILES FOR USE BY,THE POLICE ,DEPARTMENT, FOR THE S.UM -OF $46,963.. 00
LESS $4,200.00 FOR TRADE-IN OF SEVEN USED POLICE AUTOMOBILES, MAKING
A NET COST OF $42,763. 00, AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE
A CONTRACT FOR SUCH PURCHASE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY
OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the: bid of Allan Rhodes
Ford and Honda .for, sale to the City, of seven (7) 1980 Four -door LTD S .auto-
mobi les for use by the Police Department, for a net -cost of $42,763. 00, said bid
being in substantial compliance with the bid specifications: and advertisement for
bids as was authorized by resolution passed by the Board of .Commissioners on
April 8, 1980, and as contained in the bid of Allan Rhodes Ford and Honda which
was opened on April 21, 1980.
SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized
to execute a contract with A.Ilan Rhodes Ford and Honda for sale to the City of
the automobiles authorized in Section 1 above, according to the specifications,
bid proposaland and all contract documents heretofore approved and incorporated
in the bid.
SECTION 3. The purchase price -for said automobiles shall be charged
to Federal Revenue Sharing Account No. 2114.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be introduced and remain on file for
one week for public inspection in the completed form in which it shall be put
upon its final passage, and if adopted shall be in full force and effect ten (10)
days thereafter.
