AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF MANNING EQUIPMENT, INC.
FOR THE PURCHASE OF FOUR MINI PACKER REFUSE BODIES, FOR THE SUM OF
$24,848.00, AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT
FOR SUCH PURCHASE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the bid of Manning Equip-
ment, Inc., for the purchase of four (4) Mini Packer Refuse Bodies, for the sum
of $24,848.00, said bid being in substantial compliance with the bid specification
and advertisement for bids as was authorized by resolution passed by the Board
of Commissioners on April 8, 1980.
SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized
to execute a" contract with Manning Equipment; Inc.,' for the purchase of the
Mini packer refuse 'bodies authorized in Section 1 above, according to the speci-
fications, bid proposal and all contract documents heretofore approved and incor-
porated in the bid.
SECTION 3. The purchase price for said Mini packers 'shall` be charged
to Federal Revenue Sharing Account No. 3514.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be introduced and remain on file for
one week for public inspection in the completed form in which it shall be put upon
its final passage, and if' adopted shall- be in full force and effect ten -(10) days
thereafter.
