AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH PLANNING
COMMISSION RESPECTING THE REZONING OF PROPERTY LOCATED ON HUSBANDS
STREET BETWEEN SOUTH 4TH AND SOUTH 5TH STREETS, AND- AMENDING THE
PADUCAH ZONING ORDINANCE - 1976' -SO AS TO EFFECT SUCH REZONING
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That a resolution adopted by the Paducah Planning Commission
on March 17, 1980, entitled, "A RESOLUTION CONSTITUTLNG THE FINAL REPORT OF THE
PADUCAH PLANNING COMMISSION ON THE PROPOSED REZONING OF PROPERTY LOCATED
ON HUSBANDS STREET BETWEEN SOUTH 4TH AND SOUTH :5TH STREETS" , ' be approved
as the final report of said Commission respecting the matters therein set -forth.
SECTION 2. That, the zone classification change and the map amendment
proposed in said resolution be, and the same are "hereby, declared to -be dri agree-
ment with the comprehensive plan . of the -City of Paducah.
SECTION 3.. That the, zone classification of the" following_ property -.be.;
and it is hereby, changed from M:-1, Light Industrial -,Zone t6'M-2.,: Heavy Industrial
Zone:
Beginning at the point of intersection of the center lines of Husbands
Street and 5th Street; thence in an easterly direction and with the
center line of Husbands Street 409.5 feet to the intersection of the
center line of Husbands Street and the center line of 4th Street;
thence in a southerly direction and with the center line of Ath Street
198.67 feet to a point where the width of 4th Street increases from
66 feet to 101 feet; thence in a westerly direction 17.5 feet to --the new
center line of 4th Street; thence in a southerly direction and with the
-new center, line of 4th Street, 240 feet; thence in a westerly. direction
and along the line separating the properties of Thomas J. and Irene
Wynn from the property of Pugh Auto, Sales. 1:8.8.75 feet.. to..Wynn's
northwesterly corner; thence in a southerly direction and with the
Wynn line 20 feet; thence in a westerly direction and with the Pugh
Auto Sales property line 205 feet to the center line of 5th Street; thence
in a northerly direction and with the center line of 5th Street 465 feet
to the point of beginning.
SECTION 4. That if any section, paragraph or provision of this ordinance
shall be found to be inoperative, ineffective -or invalid for any cause, the deficiency
or invalidity of such section, paragraph or provision shall not affect any other
section, paragraph or provision hereof, it being the purpose and intent of this
ordinance to make each and every section, paragraph and provision hereof separable
from all other sections, paragraphs, and provisions.
SECTION 5. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after the date of its adoption.
