AN,., ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF SOUTH WESTERN COMMUNICATIONS,
INC. FOR SALE TO THE CITY OF. CATV. PROGRAM. EQUIPMENT, -FOR. THE SUM OF
$22,836.00-,- AICD._ AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT
FOR SUCH PURCHASE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE. BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION .1. That the City of Paducah accept the bid of South Western
Communications, Inc . , for sale ao the City, _of CATV Program Equipment; said bid
being in substantial compliance with the. bid specifications and advertisement, for
bids as was .authorized by .resolution passed ,by. the Board of Commissioners on
December 26, 1979, and as contained in the bid of South Western Communications,
Inc . , dated January 7,_ 1980.
SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, .authorized to
execute a .contract with South Western Communications, Inc . ,... for . the CATV Program
Equipment authorized in Section 1 above, according to the specifications, bid pro-
posal and all contract documents heretofore approved and incorporated in the bid.
SECTION 3_. The .purchase price, for I said CATV equipment- shall -be charged
to General Fund Account No. 6540.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be introduced .and remain on jile for
one week for public inspection in the completed form in which it shall -be put
upon its final passage, and if adopted shall be in full force and effect ten (10)
days thereafter.
