ORDINANCE NO. 80-1-1848
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING -THE BID OF KENTUCKY MACHINERY, INC.
FOR SALE TO THE ;CITY OF ONE NEW FIAT-ALLIS- MODEL 16-B CRAWLER TRACTOR -
(BULLDOZER) ;TO BE- USED ON THE L-ANDFILL,- FOR THE SUM OF $104, 377.00=; AND
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A ,CONTRACT FOR SUCH PURCHASE
BE IT ,ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION J.- That the City, of Paducah accept the bid of Kentucky
Machinery, Inc..., for sale to the -City of. One New Fiat -Allis Model 16-B Crawler
Tractor (bulldozer) to. be ,used ..on the landfill,, for the sum of $104,377. 00; said . bid
being in substantial compliance with the bid specifications and., advertisement, for
bids as was authorized by resolution passed by, tie Board . of. Commissioners ;on
November 27, 1979 and as, _contained,in the bid of Kentucky Machinery, Inc., dated.
December 12, 1979.
SECTION_ 2.. That, the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to
execute a contract with Kentucky Machinery, Inc. , for the purchase of equipment
authorized in Section 1 above; according to the specifications, bid proposal and all
contract documents heretofore approved and incorporated in the bid.
SECTION 3. The purchase price for said equipment shall be charged to
Federal Revenue Sharing Account No. 3514.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be introduced and remain on file for
one week for public inspection in the completed form in which it shall be put upon
its final passage, and if adopted shall be in full force and effect ten (10) days
thereafter.
