A MUNICIPAL ORDER AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE ALL
DOCUMENTS NECESSARY TO OBTAIN A 2010 MATCHING INSURANCE SERVICES
SAFETY GRANT IN THE AMOUNT OF $3,000 FROM THE KENTUCKY LEAGUE OF
CITIES FOR THE PURCHASE OF SAFETY EQUIPMENT AND CONFERENCE
REGISTRATION FOR THE POLICE, FIRE, AND RISK MANAGEMENT DEPARTMENTS
BE IT ORDERED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute all documents necessary
to obtain a 2010 Matching Insurance Services Safety Grant in the amount of $3,000 from the
Kentucky League of Cities for the purchase of personal protective equipment, safety equipment
and one KMESHA registration for the Police, Fire, and Risk Management Departments.
Matching funds in the amount of $3,000 will be provided from the Risk Management existing
budget.
SECTION 2. This order will be in full force and effect from and after the date of
its adoption.
