A MUNICIPAL ORDER SUSPENDING THE CALENDAR YEAR 2010
ANNUAL ADJUSTMENT TO THE SALARIES FOR THE MAYOR AND
COMMISSIONERS AUTHORIZED BY ORDINANCE NO. 98-4-5852
WHEREAS, the Board of Commissioners discussed the annual adjustment
they were to receive for the 2010 Calendar year and decided to suspend their adjustment
BE IT ORDERED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The City of Paducah hereby suspends the annual adjustment
to salaries for the Board of Commissioners for calendar year 2010. The automatic annual
adjustment authorized by Ordinance No. 98-4-5852 increases or decreases the salary in
line with the consumer price index of the preceding calendar year. The CPI through
December of 2009 was 2.72%.
SECTION 2. The Director of Finance is authorized and directed to
immediately implement this Municipal Order.
SECTION 3. This Order will be in full force and effect from and after the
date of its adoption.
