AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE OFFER OF „WILLIAM A. VOYTAS AND WIFE,
LUCILLE VOYTAS, 23.39 BARNETT :STREET,.. TO PURCHASE, THE.. INTEREST OF THE CITY
IN LOT 13, BLOCK, 6 WHITTEMORE'S WEST END ADDITION, LOCATED ON THE NORTH
SIDE OF TENNESSEE_ STREET, FOR -THE SUM OF $210.00 AND AUTHORIZING THE
MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE A, QUITCLAIM.. DEED_
BE IT -ORDAINED . BY THEBOARD BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the -offer of William .A A. Voytas and wife, Lucille Voytas,
in the amount, of $210.00 to purchase the ,interest of the City in the following
described land in said City be accepted, said land being described as follows:
Lot 13, Block 6, Whiittemore's West End Addition,
fronting 40.83 feet on the north side of Tennessee
Street 200 feet west of 29th Street, and as shown
on page 43 of Block Map Book 8 in the office of
the City Engineer.
Being the same land (Bettie Elliott and D. L. Wheelis)
conveyed to the City of Paducah on August 17, 1972,
by Benjamin C. LeRoy, Treasurer, by deed of record
in Deed Book 543, Page 679 in the McCracken County
Court Clerk's office.
SECTION 2. Upon the payment of the sum of $210.00 (plus $5.50 for
recording fee to be paid by the City) to the City Treasurer, the Mayor and City
Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to convey to William A. Voytas and
wife, Lucille Voytas, all of the right, title _and interest of the. City in the
property described in .Section 1 hereof._ and.,,that- said deed- of conveyance shall
be quitclaim only, shall contain no warranty as to title and shall be subject to
any state of facts as might be shown by an accurate survey.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its adoption.
