A MUNICIPAL ORDER AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A
GRANT APPLICATION AND ALL DOCUMENTS NECESSARY TO OBTAIN A 2015
KENTUCKY BODY ARMOR REIMBURSEMENT GRANT THROUGH THE KENTUCKY
' OFFICE OF HOMELAND SECURITY, LAW ENFORCEMENT PROTECTION PROGRAM,
IN THE AMOUNT OF $23,940 TO BE USED FOR THE PURCHASE OF BODY ARMOR BY
THE PADUCAH POLICE DEPARTMENT
BE IT ORDERED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute a grant application and
all documents necessary to obtain a 2015 Kentucky Body Armor Reimbursement Grant through
the Kentucky Office of Homeland Security, Law Enforcement Protection Program, in the amount
of $23,940.00 to be used for the Paducah Police Department to reimburse the City for the
purchase of 36 body armor vests.
SECTION 2. This order shall be in full force and effect from and after the date of
its adoption.
