A MUNICIPAL ORDER AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE AN
APPLICATION AND ALL DOCUMENTS NECESSARY FOR A 2015/2016
REIMBURSEMENT GRANT IN THE AMOUNT OF $56,564.80 THROUGH THE
KENTUCKY OFFICE OF HIGHWAY SAFETY FOR SPECIFIC TRAFFIC ENFORCEMENT
ACTIVITIES FOR THE PADUCAH POLICE DEPARTMENT
BE IT ORDERED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute an application and all
documents necessary for a reimbursement grant through the Kentucky Office of Highway Safety
in the amount of $56,564.80. Said grant funds shall be used to fund overtime hours for traffic
enforcement aimed at reducing DUI and distracted driving incidents and seat belt usage for the
Paducah Police Department. No local cash or in-kind contribution is required.
SECTION 2. This Order shall be in full force and effect from and after the date of
its adoption.
