SECTION 1. That Section 3-27 shall be amended to- read '. as follows:

for on premises consumption. -

(a) There shall° not be issued, for the privilege of selling in the city
spirituous or vinous liquors at retail by the glass for consumption on the premises,
more than one (1) such license for every twenty-five hundred (2500) inhabitants of
McCracken County, according to the enumeration of the population thereof as
established by the current census of the United States, or according to such enumeration
of the population ' as may be fixed by ordinance -
(b) There shall be issued a restaurant wine license, for consumption of wine
on the premises, to any qualified applicant who owns or operates a restaurant which
receives fifty percent (50%) or more of its gross annual income from the sale of food
and has a minimum seating capacity of fifty (50) people at tables and who otherwise

meets the laws and regulations of the Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control of the
Commonwealth of Kentucky" .
SECTION 2. There is hereby created a new Section 3-54 - Restaurant
Wine License - sale of wine for on premises consumption.
"Sec. 3-54. Restaurant Wine License - sale of wine for on premises con-
sumption.
For the privilige of selling wine for consumption on the premises under
a license issued pursuant to 3-27 (b) , there shall be paid to the City of Paducah a
semi-annual license• fee in-. the. amount of $_100.,.00!' .'
