A MUNICIPAL ORDER AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXTEND
THE REAL ESTATE OPTION/PURCHASE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF
PADUCAH AND PADUCAH HOUSING SERVICES, LLC FOR PURCHASE OF
PROPERTY LOCATED ON OLD NORTH FRIENDSHIP ROAD FOR THE
SCHOLARS HOUSE PROJECT
WHEREAS, the City of Paducah and the Paducah Housing Services, LLC
entered into a Real Estate Option/Purchase Agreement for a period of six (6) months
whereby Paducah Housing Services, LLC would purchase property from the City to be
used for the Scholars House Project; and
WHEREAS, the six (6) month term has expired and the City is willing to
extend the term of the option for an additional twelve (12) months.
BE IT ORDERED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to extend the term of
the Real Estate Option/Purchase Agreement between the City of Paducah and Paducah
Housing Services, LLC, for an additional twelve (12) months for property located on Old
North Friendship Road for the Scholars House Project.
SECTION 2. This Order shall be in full force and effect from and after
the date of its adoption.
