A MUNICIPAL ORDER CREATING THE SPORTS PARK NAMING
RIGHTS PANEL FOR THE PADUCAH SPORTS PARK
BE IT ORDERED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. There is hereby created and established the Sports Park
Naming Rights Panel for the Paducah Sports Park with membership being adjusted as
appointments are made.
SECTION 2. The purpose of this Panel is to develop guidelines and
provide support for the naming rights, sponsorships and fundraising associated with the
Paducah Sports Park. The Panel will make naming recommendations to the Board of
Commissioners for final approval.
SECTION 3. The members of said Panel shall be named by the Mayor,
subject to the approval of the Board of Commissioners, and shall serve in ad hoc
capacity. The membership will be composed of two members of the City of Paducah
Commission, chief project fundraiser, two private citizens and the Parks Services
Director as staff liaison.
SECTION 4. The members of this Committee shall serve without
compensation from the City, may not incur indebtedness to be paid by the City, and the
City shall not be responsible for debts incurred by said Committee.
SECTION 5. This order shall be in full force and effect from and after the
date of its adoption.
