A MUNICIPAL ORDER AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE AN
ENERGY EFFICIENCY AND CONSERVATION BLOCK GRANT APPLICATION AND
ALL DOCUMENTS NECESSARY THROUGH THE KENTUCKY DEPARTMENT FOR
LOCAL GOVERNMENT IN AN AMOUNT UP TO $50,000 FOR THE VOLUNTEER -
OPERATED RECYCLING DROP OFF CENTER
BE IT ORDERED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute an application in
partnership with the Jackson Purchase Resource Conservation and Development Foundation,
Greater Paducah Sustainability, and Recycle Now for an Energy Efficiency and Conservation
Block Grant through the Kentucky Department for Local Government, in an amount up to
$50,000, to purchase recycling infrastructure equipment, including transportation trailers. No
local match is required.
SECTION 2. This order shall be in full force and effect from and after the date of
its adoption.
