HomeMy WebLinkAbout2015-01-8213ORDINANCE NO. 2015-1-8213 AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE CHANGE ORDER NO. 1 WITH HARPER CONSTRUCTION, LLC FOR THE GREENWAY TRAIL PHASE II PROJECT WHEREAS, the City approved Ordinance No. 2013-09-8076 to enter into a contract with Harper Construction, LLC in the amount of $672,502.45 for the Greenway Trail Phase II Project; and WHEREAS, Change Order No. 1 is required for an increase in the amount of $17,123.27 for adjustment of actual quantities installed to finalize the project for the above referenced contract, increasing the total contract price to $689,625.72. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute Change Order No. 1 for an increase in the amount of $17,123.27 with Harper Construction, LLC for adjustment of actual quantities installed to finalize the Greenway Trail Phase II Project, increasing the total cost to $689,625.72. SECTION 2. This expenditure shall be charged to project account PA0078, account number 040-8821-536-2307. SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will become effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424. Mayor ATTEST: Tammara S.
