MUNICIPAL ORDER NO. 1810
A MUNICIPAL ORDER AUTHORIZING THE PLANNING DEPARTMENT
TO SUBMIT AN APPLICATION FOR THE CITY OF PADUCAH, IN PARTNERSHIP WITH
MIDTOWN ALLIANCE, TO REQUEST A 2015 AFFORDABLE HOUSING TRUST FUND
GRANT IN THE AMOUNT OF $120,000 THROUGH THE KENTUCKY HOUSING
CORPORATION TO BE USED FOR THE HOMEOWNER REHABILITATION OF TWO
EXISTING HOMES IN THE FOUNTAIN AVENUE NEIGHBORHOOD
BE IT ORDERED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The City of Paducah, in partnership with Midtown Alliance of
Neighbors, hereby authorizes the Mayor to execute an application and all documents relating to
same, to request a 2015 Affordable Housing Trust Fund Grant in the amount of $120,000
through the Kentucky Housing Corporation. This grant will be used for the homeowner
rehabilitation of two existing homes in the Fountain Avenue neighborhood. The City will be
designated the award recipient and assume financial administration along with construction
oversight of the projects. Midtown Alliance will be the sub -recipient and coordinate the day-to-
day administration of the two homeowner rehabs.
SECTION 2. This order shall be in full force and effect from and after the date of
its adoption.
