HomeMy WebLinkAbout09/06/01419 SEPTEMBER 6, 2001 At a Called Meeting of the Board of Commissioners, held in the Commission Chambers at City Hall, at 4:00 p.m., May 10, 2001, Mayor Paxton presided, and upon call of the roll by the City Clerk, the following answered to their names: Commissioners Abraham, Coleman, Montgomery and Mayor Paxton (4). Commissioner Smith arrived late (1). R & F NOTICES Commissioner Abraham offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Coleman, that the Notice of Called Meeting of the Board of Commissioners of the City of Paducah for 4:00 p.m., Thursday, September 6, 2001, be received and filed. Adopted on call of the roll, yeas, Commissioners Abraham, Coleman, Montgomery and Mayor Paxton (4). ORDINANCE — INTRODUCTION HORSE STABLE FOR ANNIE'S CARRIAGE (SEC. 14-1(c)) Commissioner Coleman offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Montgomery, that the Board of Commissioners introduce an ordinance entitled, "AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS 14-1(c), "KEEPING OF ANIMALS GENERALLY; t/ KEEPING OF ANIMALS WHICH CONSTITUTE NUISANCE", OF CHAPTER 14, ANIMALS, OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY". Amending Sec. 14-1(c) of Chapter 14, "Animals", of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Paducah, exempting Annie's Stables located at 502 South Second Street. WORKSHOP 1. Paducah Water Rate Study — Glen Anderson discussed the proposed 5 -year transition plan. Denton & Keuler, Attorneys, will prepare a water rate \ I ordinance after proposed rates are approved by the Water Board. 1� 2. Parks Master Plan Update was discussed by Mark Thompson. 3. Code Enforcement Board & Fines Recommendations and amendment of Chapter 42 was discussed by Joel Scarbrough and Tom Barnett. 4. Parks/Senior Center Renovations were discussed by Bob Freudenthal. Four Rivers Center Bids & Status Report were discussed by Rick Murphy. Upon motion the meeting adjourned. ADOPTED: September 11, 2001 City Clerk
