AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF RUDD-WOODALL FORD -
MERCURY, INC. , FOR SALE TO THE CITY OF ONE 1979 FORD F100 PICKUP TRUCK,
FOR THE SUM OF $4,712.55, TO BE ^USED BY THE PARKS & RECREATION DEPART-
MENT, AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR
SUCH PURCHASE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY
OF PADUCAH , KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the bid of Rudd -Woodall
Ford -Mercury, Inc. , for sale to the City of one F100 Ford Pickup truck, to be
used by the Parks & Recreation Department, for the sum of $4,712.55; said bid
being in substantial compliance with the bid specifications and advertisement for
bids as was authorized by resolution passed by the Board of Commissioners on
November '14, 1978, and as contained in the bid of Rudd -Woodall Ford -Mercury,
Inc . , dated November 24, 1978.
SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized
to execute a contract with Rudd -Woodall Ford -Mercury, Inc . , for sale to the City
of the truck authorized in Section 1 above, according to the specifications, bid
proposal and all contract, documents heretofore approved and incorporated in the bid.
SECTION 3. The purchase price for said truck shall be charged to
General Fund Account No. 5114.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be introduced and remain on file for
one week for public inspection in the completed form in which it shall be put
upon its final passage,- and if adopted shall be in full force and effect ten (10)
days thereafter.
