ORDINANCE NO. 78-11-1649
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE OFFER OF FRANK KERN, SINGLE, 718
HARRISON STREET, PADUCAH , KENTUCKY, TO PURCHASE THE INTEREST' OF THE
CITY IN PROPERTY AT 716 HARRISON STREET-, FOR THE SUM OF $610.00, AND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE A QUITCLAIM DEED
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the offer of Frank Kern, in the amount of $610.00,
to purchase the interest of the City in the" following described land in said City be
accepted, said land being described as follows:
Fronting 36 feet on the South side of Harrison
Street 137.25 feet west of, 7th ,Street, and extend-
ing back South 86:5 feet; and subject to a 6 foot
alley; easement on_ the East side. See page 84
of Block Map Book 1 in the office of the City -
Engineer., and Deed Book 433, page 325. Known
as 716 Harrison Street.
Being the same land (Charles E. Burton) con-
veyed to the City of Paducah_ by Benjamin C .
LeRoy, Treasurer, by Deed dated April 12, 1976,
and of record in Deed Book 581, Page 415, in
the McCracken County Court Clerk's office.
SECTION 2. Upon the payment of the sum of $610.00 (plus $6.00 record-
ing fee to be paid by the City) to the City Treasurer, the Mayor and City Clerk
are hereby authorized and directed to convey to Frank Kern, all of the right, title
and interest of the City in the property described in Section 1 hereof and that said
deed of conveyance shall be quitclaim only, shall contain no warranty . as to_, title
and shall be subject to any state of facts as might be shown by an accurate survey.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its adoption.
