HomeMy WebLinkAboutOfficial Logo for City Vehicles379 A RESOLUTION ADOPTING AN OFFICIAL LOGO FOR CITY OF PADUCAH MOTOR VEHICLES WHEREAS , Kentucky Revised Statutes require all city owned motor vehicles licensed with official license plates to be marked as official City motor vehicles, and WHEREAS , it would be desirable for all automobiles owned by the City of Paducah to have identical identification as official motor vehicles of the City of Paducah, and WHEREAS , there has been prepared a logo suitable for identifying motor vehicles of the City of Paducah. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. The logo received and filed with the Board of Commissioners on September 25, 197'9 is hereby adopted as the official identification for all motor vehicles owned by the City of Paducah . SECTION 2. The City Manager is hereby instructed to have the official logo placed on .all .motor vehicles owned by the City of Paducah, except as herein- after provided . SECTION 3. The following motor vehicles , and only the following motor vehicles , shall be exempted from the requirement that the official logo be attached to all motor vehicles: (a) The motor vehicle provided for the use of the Mayor of the City of .Paducah, which is already appropriately identified . (b) Departmental cars which already bear an official departmental logo identifying said car as an official car of the City of Paducah. (c) Automobiles driven by City of Paducah Police Detectives which do not have official state license registration plates . SECTION 4. This resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after the date of its adoption .
