ORDINANCE'NO. 79-9--1781
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF MUNICIPAL EQUIPMENT, INC.,
FOR SALE , TO THE CITY OF TWO LEAF
AF LOADERS TO BE USED , ED BY THE STREET
DEPARTMENT, FOR THE SUM OF $16,590.00, AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER
TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SUCH PURCHASE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF' THE 'CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1.
That the
City
of Paducah
accept the bid of- Municipal
Equipment, Inc: for
sale to the
City
of two (2)
Leaf Loaders to be used by the
Street Department, for the sum of $16,590.00; said -bid being in substantial com-
pliance with the bid specifications " and advertisement for bids as was authorized by
resolution dated July 24, 1979, and as contained in the bid of Municipal Equipment,
Inc., dated August 13, 1979.
SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby,- authorized to
execute a contract with Municial Equipment', Inc. for sale to the City of two (2)
leaf loaders -authorized- in Section 1 above, 'according to the specifications, bid
proposal and all contract docu, , ments heretofore approved and incorporated in the bid.
SECTION 3*., 'The purchase price for said leaf loaders shall be charged to
Federal Revenue Sharing Account No. 3414.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be introduced and remainonfile for
one week for 'public inspectioft"'i'n'the 'completed form in which it shall be put I up -

on its final passage, and if adopted shall in full force and effect ten (10) days
thereafter.
